The downside of using the duplicate function is that it will create a copy of the original text only on the same slide. However, the advantage of the “Duplicate” function is that you don’t need to first copy and then paste. The “Duplicate” text function will create a copy of the text or a text box. Then, simply press the “Ctrl+D” keyboard key combination to duplicate the text on the slide. To duplicate text in your Google Slides, first select the text that you want to create a copy for. You can also use the “Duplicate” function in Google Slides.
